Who Am I ?

massage_rocksI am a seasoned massage professional who has been working in this industry for over 15 years in various capacities.  Each massage session performed is unique to the individual I work with. Many different techniques may be incorporated into your session to get the desired outcome. Some folks want to relax and go with-in , while others come in seeking relieve from chronic/ acute pain and stress . My massage training includes shiatsu massage, myofascial release, Table Thai massage to name a few.   I am also a proud member of Rooted River Therapies. Where each client is respected and valued the moment they walk through the door .

What’s New ?

The year 2022 has been a year of Learning for me !  I received my Master Certification training  in Health and Wellness coaching through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute.   I also received a certificate in the application of  GuaSha.  Guasha is good for chronic pain.  It helps improve circulation and to decrease stiffness it is especially good for muscle strains and  tendonitis.

In June 2018 I became certified in Massage Cupping through International Cupping Association. Cupping therapy is the use of suction rather than compression for bodywork . Many health conditions are treated using this type of therapy such as sciatic pain , TMJ, sinus congestion and releasing rigid and tight muscles. In addition to relieving pain, the pulling action activates the parasympathetic nervous system which creates a deep relaxation in the body. Many of my clients enjoy this integrated into their regular sessions.

New protocols have been implemented to ensure a safe and clean environment.  Please feel free  to contact me with any questions .

We live in a busy and stressful world today our responsibilities are endless and it seems there is not enough time in the day to complete everything that needs to be done.  If you feel like this, now is the time to incorporate massage/bodywork into your life style.  Massage is essential to good health and is beneficial to the mind and body.  Body tension manifests itself in many different ways which may include tight muscles, headaches and fatigue. When our muscles are tight this may result in poor posture, decreased range of motion and lack of local blood flow.  Each therapeutic/integrative massage session I perform may include stretching, shiatsu, myofascial techniques and energy work to assist with bringing your body/mind back into balance.  Massage encourages a person to experience life as it actually is IN THE MOMENT.
